Circadian cycle nudges you, open eyes of low-light
Rest no more with the dawn break and the dusk fall
Eagle-owl, horn-head, orange-eye emperor
Puma, mountain hunter on the sunset sand
Up, you beauties, the between time is yours!
Snake-killer mongoose, gray furred bush stalker
Crying elk, scour the grasslands, strip the bark
Up, you who only tread in the twilight!
Little green-spotted frog, gather at the riverbed
Autumn-molter, swift footed snowshoe hare
Rouse only at the cusp of morning or evening
